China tour packages look easy to compare until the fine print turns one price into five different products. A package may include hotels but not international flights, guides but not every transfer, domestic trains but not ticket change fees, or sightseeing but not the pace your family actually needs.
This guide is not a list of cheap deals. It is a buyer's checklist for understanding what a China package includes, what it usually hides, and when a private tailor-made arrangement is the better fit.

International flights, visa fees, travel insurance, optional activities, some meals, personal expenses, tips, single supplements, baggage fees, and emergency changes often sit outside the base price. Some low-price packages also rely on shopping stops or fixed restaurant arrangements.
Before comparing two quotes, put them into the same grid: hotel level, room type, guide type, vehicle type, transport class, tickets, meals, cancellation rules, and emergency support.

A fixed-departure package answers: “Which date can I join, and what is the price per person?” A private ground arrangement answers: “What route works for my party, and what support do we need?”
TravelToQin works on the second model. We do not run join-in group tours or add strangers to your vehicle. The itinerary is built for your party only, with private guide and transport arranged where appropriate.
US travelers need to separate international flights, visa timing, passport validity, payment setup, and domestic transport from the package headline. A round-trip US-China vacation usually needs a tourist visa rather than transit assumptions; start with Can Americans travel to China and China tourist visa.
If your package includes domestic trains, verify passport name format and ticket rules through official or confirmed booking channels. Our rail ticket guide is here: book high-speed train tickets in China.
We start with dates, city interests, party profile, hotel level, walking limits, and non-negotiable sights. Then we shape private ground, hotel logic, domestic transport windows, and guide support around the route. We do not sell a public departure seat inside a coach group.
