@ The Louis, Shanghai — Louis Vuitton's flagship cultural space, one of Shanghai's most architecturally striking landmarks. Nanjing Road — Shanghai's main pedestrian shopping boulevard. City God Temple (Chenghuang Temple) — a Taoist temple complex dating to the 15th century.

@ Yu Garden Mall night view — ornamental rooftops and lanterns reflected on the surrounding moat. The Bund — iconic waterfront promenade facing the illuminated Pudong skyline. Drop off to hotel. Dinner at a recommended restaurant.

* Wukang Building · Sinan Mansions · Tianzifang · Lujiazui River Cruise

@ Breakfast. Pick up from hotel. Wukang Building and Wukang Road — the most photographed Art Deco building in Shanghai, set along a tree-lined French Concession street.

~ Daytime

@ Sinan Mansions — a preserved French Concession residential complex of 1920s stone-gate houses. Tianzifang — a maze of narrow shikumen alleyways with indie boutiques, cafés and galleries.

~ Night

@ River cruise through Lujiazui area — night views of the Pudong skyline from the water. Optional: Oriental Pearl Tower observation deck. Dinner at a recommended restaurant.

* Zhujiajiao Water Town
