A "Harbin Ice and Snow World ticket" is one park ticket, not a season pass. The Harbin Ice and Snow Festival is the season; the Ice and Snow World is the illuminated ice-sculpture park in Songbei. The festival page covers what to do across the season with five nights. This page covers the one ticket you are buying when you arrive at the Songbei park gates.
People search "Harbin Ice and Snow World ticket" expecting a price, a date, and a venue. The reality is one of those three shifts every year. The venue is fixed (Songbei). The season is fixed (late December through late February, depending on weather). The price and exact open dates shift with each year's edition and follow the park's announcement for that season.
The Ice and Snow World is in the Songbei district of Harbin, north of the main river. Three things that look related but are not the same ticket:

If a tour brochure offers "the Harbin Ice Festival ticket," ask which of the three it covers. Most cover the Songbei park; some add Sun Island as a daytime add-on; a few skip Ice and Snow World entirely and run Zhaolin Park as a substitute.
Three rules on how to buy the ticket:
The 27th edition of Ice and Snow World closed in late February 2026. The 28th edition opens in late December 2026, weather permitting. The exact opening date and the ticket tiers are posted on the park's channels for the current season.
For travelers who want Ice and Snow World in a private day shape rather than as a one-day ticket stop, the five-night Harbin line puts the park on a single evening block after the first night's rest. The rest of the line covers Yabuli, Snow Village, and the city's daylight hours without trying to cram the rest into a single day. This is the realistic pace in winter Harbin.

If you want the daytime Sun Island snow sculpture park as well, that adds a separate ticket and a separate day block. If you want to ski Yabuli or stay overnight in Snow Village, those are different products on top of the base line.

If the Ice and Snow World ticket is one block inside a private Harbin trip, we book it through the official channels and include it in the day's private vehicle and guide. The ticket tier, open hours, and any weather-related closures follow the park's announcement for the current season.
What we do not do: book through a reseller at a markup, promise a specific opening date for the next season before the park announces it, or guarantee that any specific ice-sculpture theme will run on the night you arrive. The 27th edition closed in late February 2026; the 28th edition typically opens in late December 2026, weather permitting.
