On a map, Guilin and Yangshuo look like one afternoon apart. On the ground, a Guilin private tour lives or dies on three decisions: total days, how many nights you sleep in each base, and whether Li River is a full morning or a rushed checkbox before West Street. This page is for parties booking private ground—driver, guide, and MPV for your group only—not join-in coach tours. Product day blocks on Guilin 4D3N, Guilin 5D4N, and Guilin 7D6N show how we sequence river, terraces, and karst peaks without daily hotel swaps. Multi-city framing sits in private China tour; terrace module detail in Longji Rice Terraces trip planning.
We do not promise empty boats or clear-only peaks—only honest sequencing.
The classic cruise links Guilin pier areas to Yangshuo—roughly a half-day with boarding, sailing, and disembark logistics. Private tours can also combine shorter boat segments with road transfers when weather or pier schedules shift.
A usable Yangshuo day on our 5D–7D products often splits:
Guilin 4D3N: arrival Li River cruise; Yangshuo peaks and food street; farewell. Guilin 5D4N adds Longji terraces (Ping'an village) before Silver Cave and Yulong rafting—good when terraces matter.
Guilin 6D5N: city hills (Reed Flute, Elephant Trunk Hill), Longji day, Li River + cycling + optional helicopter, Xianggong and food street. Guilin 7D6N adds a second Yangshuo countryside / rafting day before departure—better for photographers and families who need pace breaks.
Send: total days, must-do Li River (yes/no), terrace day (yes/no), walking limits, and whether Yangshuo nightlife is a goal or a nuisance. We reshape product bones—we do not run fixed group departures or add strangers to your vehicle.
