Journey through the wild heart of Chinese Central Asia on this 8-day Xinjiang Yili Loop private tour. Start in Urumqi and explore the Grand Bazaar, then drive west past the optional Duzishan Canyon and Aibi Lake to reach the crystal-blue Sayram Lake — looping its shores past beaches, grasslands and the iconic S-curve road. Discover Tekesi Eight-Diagram City and its sunrise Tai Chi ritual, ride across the sweeping Kalajun Grassland, and spend two full days in the otherworldly Kurdenin and Nalati Scenic Areas with their cloud grasslands and river valleys. The return journey crosses the world's longest expressway tunnel through the Tianshan mountains.
