@ Canton Tower — 600 m landmark with 460 m observation deck and the Bubble Tram, a glass gondola circling the tower's exterior. Drop off to hotel. Dinner at a recommended restaurant.

* Gulong Gorge

@ Pick up from hotel. Drive to Gulong Gorge.

~ Afternoon

@ Gulong Gorge scenic area: multi-tiered waterfall → glass bridge → racing car track → Finger Flower field. Optional: river rafting.

@ Drive back to Guangzhou city. Drop off to hotel.

* Chen Family Memorial Hall · Shamian Island · Yongqing Lane · Pearl River Cruise

@ Breakfast. Chen Family Memorial Hall — a masterpiece of Qing-dynasty Cantonese folk architecture, decorated with ceramic friezes, wood carvings and stone sculptures.

~ Afternoon

@ Shamian Island — a tree-lined colonial island with European-style mansions from the 19th-century treaty port era. Yongqing Lane — a revitalised old neighbourhood blending Lingnan shophouses with contemporary art and Cantonese cuisine. Recommended lunch: Canton dim sum brunch or porridge hotpot.
