@ Breakfast. 2-hour drive to Gubei Water Town — a beautifully restored ancient riverside village at the foot of the Simatai Great Wall section.

@ Simatai Great Wall — one of the few sections open after dark, known for its steep, unrestored character and dramatic ridge-top views.
